Hannah Rendall  told me that Jean Marwick, wife of David Gibson,  Janet Marwick, second wife of Hugh Gibson,  and Elizabeth Marwick, wife of William Marwick, were sisters. Hannah is a descendant of the Gibsons of Langskaill.  The accuracy of this claim cannot be checked because of a 50-year gap in the Rousay records.  (R.C.M.)
