Hugh and Mary, the parents in this family, died in 1882 within a month of each other. He was aged 54 and she was 46. Seven of the children were younger than 18 when they were orphaned. Thomas Marwick, b. 1873 has a descendant, Warren Gilbert living at Oromocto, New Brunswick, Canada, who contacted me c. 1990 seeking information on his Marwick ancestry. (R.C.M.)
